Financial supports for EEF have decreased since 2002. It's about more than 60% down in many countries. If this condition is continued, we will have to downscale estimated cost significantly.

The reason is not only economy has been going down world wide but also the understanding about Israel has been changing.

Global dinamics has gone through various kinds of change. Today's wars are called 'information war'.The public opinion is influenced by the mass medis such as news, which influences the decisions of governments.

You might not want to get involved with the nations of Israel if you have doubt the validity of the existence of Israel and its policies by hearing the stagnant situation of the Middle East peace negociation.

Also, some people would think "Now is not the time of return." hearing about domestic situation of Israel.

At the same time, we should not miss influence of theology.

Both of those who persecute the Jews and the Jews are influenced by the theology of that time. Theology itself is not bad. But it is a human-made, so that it may be mistaken. And also it may not show what God wants to emphasize at that particular time and period. Even Luther who was a religious reformer had a bad image about Jews, not because of his own faith, but becasue of the major theology at that time.

We have a privirege to love Israel and stand with them, but if we were born at those days, we might be down on them. So, nobody should not be proud to love them or judge other people and people who lived in other periods.

Even Christian who bless Israel may be negative about return of Jews if they receive wrong message as like "Israel will be brokne up again in last days -although there are many promises which God will protect them in the time of hardship-, or when Jews return is millennial.

Trying shoose from relief goods

Repent, then, and turn to God,...that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ , who has been appointed for you - even Jesus. (Acts 3:19-20)

The word of "refreshing " from this passage includes restoring of people in the land. If not, the meaning of scriptures about return which is more than 700 would be nothing, it is also placed in the book of "Let My People Go!"*1

All theologists do not have united opinion about eschatoloy. So we should not be swayed by thologies but need to do what each one of us hear from God.

It is amazing to see that many Christians take part burdens for return of Jews and support this ministry with prayers and materials.
