Unniversary of sending 100,000 Olims on Yom Kippur.

In October 5, 2003, a ship of EEF left for Oddessa with 174 olim (reternee) for Hyfah.

The voyage became a memorial for EEF. Because it notched up of sending 100,000 olims since EEF started sending in 1991.

Plus, the day, October 6, wasYom Kippur which is the Day of Atonement.

On the day of Yom Kippur, traditionally people repent their sins of past year and ask forgiveness with fasting. Even non strong belivers do pray, repent and fasting. It is the most solemn day.

It is according Leviticus 16. From that passage, sins do not mean parsonal sins, but whole race's sins that the high priest go into sanctum to atone for. So that words of "purify" or "new heart" from Ezekiel 36 mean not only salvation of parsonal but whole race.

The salvation of this whole race occupy a very important place in the plan of God. The purpose of those Christian ministries called Chrisitan-Zionism, including EEF is to cultivate the land of the Jews' hearts so that they may be saved as a race. And one of the requirements to fulfill the salvation of the race is the return of the people back to Israel.

This ministry has many fictions, have had many difficul situations through 20 years including prepearation. To notch up to send 100,000 Olim on the special day was the time of affirmation of words from Ezekiel 36:24. The verse talks about return and purifying (salvation) Heavenly Father, Himself approves the ministry again. The meaning of Ebenezer is that "Thus far has the Lord helped us."(1Samuel 7:12).
